Revitalized Cincinnati Reds Urban Youth Academy tees community up for success
Retained by the Cincinnati Reds Community Fund, IBI Group provided surveying and civil engineering services for the redevelopment of 35-acre Roselawn Park. Our engineers developed the civil documents and helped to implement a $7M, 33,000 sq. ft. indoor training facility (Joey Votto Baseball Academy), as well as four new baseball/softball fields on the grounds. The field requirements included two synthetic turf and two natural grass diamond showcase fields complete with a grandstand plaza and press box.
Our team completed the development of construction plans to replace & rehabilitate the existing fields and construct the grandstand plaza. Design elements included utilities, grading and stormwater management with bio-retention swales and fencing.
